Coverage provided by each limit
Wyoming sets 25/50/20 as its minimum liability limits: $25,000 covers each injured person, $50,000 covers all injuries from one accident and $20,000 covers damage to someone else's property.
Costs for medical care and a newer vehicle often exceed these limits. Claims may be filed against you for amounts above these limits, so many drivers purchase 100/300/100 instead. A liability policy in Wyoming averages $422 a year.
Driving with no insurance
You may lose your license and registration if you drive uninsured in Wyoming. You may have to submit proof of insurance for several years to recover your license and registration.
