What you still pay with the minimum limits
The minimum liability requirement in Ohio is 25/50/25. For each person hurt, the limit is $25,000. For everyone hurt in one crash, it is $50,000. Property damage to other people is covered up to $25,000.
Liability coverage pays out to the other people. Unless you add collision, fixing your own car is your own cost.
Any amount left after your limits apply can be claimed from you if a crash costs more. Higher limits usually cost much less than the added protection they provide.
