What every figure pays for
In Nevada, drivers need at least 25/50/20 liability coverage: $25,000 for each injured person, $50,000 for all injuries in one crash, and $20,000 when someone else's property is damaged.
These limits often fall short of the cost of medical care and of a newer car. Because you can be required to pay costs beyond those limits, many drivers choose 100/300/100 coverage instead. The yearly average cost of a liability policy in Nevada is $1,196.
If you drive with no insurance
In Nevada, driving uninsured can cost you your license and registration. Getting them back may require filing proof of insurance for several years.
The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is where questions go.
