Which insurers cost the least in Nevada
Nevada publishes no price comparison of insurers, so nobody can rank every company there using official figures. Averaging $1,196 a year, the cheapest legal policy comes to about $100 a month (NAIC).
Get quotes from at least three insurers using the same limits and deductibles. For one driver, a regional company, a direct writer and a local agent often give very different prices.
How to pay less
- Keep the state minimum only on an old car you could replace with cash: dropping collision and comprehensive saves $670 a year on the Nevada average.
- If you raise your deductible, what you save each year often beats what one claim would cost you extra.
- Ask for every discount by its name: safe-driving apps, paying in full, good student, bundling home and auto, multi-car.
- When your policy renews, compare prices again. A rate increase at one company doesn't tell you that others went up too.
